FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Can you host a private tasting at our home, or do we need to find a venue?
We're happy to come straight to your home, and honestly, that's where most of our private tastings happen. We bring the wine, the glasses and everything else from our cellar, so all you need is a table and some room for your guests. Prefer a restaurant or a bar instead? We can set it up there too.
Do we need to know anything about wine beforehand?
Not a thing. Some guests already know exactly what they like, others have never really thought about it, and both tend to have just as much fun. Our host is genuinely passionate about wine and keeps things relaxed, so nobody's put on the spot, and everyone joins in and picks something up along the way.
What's actually included in the price?
That depends on the package you pick. Every bespoke tasting includes a welcome drink, a curated selection of four wines, and something to snack on. Go up a tier, and you'll get Champagne or Prosecco instead, richer food pairings, and, on the top package, a guided brandy tasting.
Would this work as a gift for someone?
It's actually one of the more popular reasons people book us. Instead of another bottle sitting on a shelf, you're giving someone an evening they'll genuinely remember, good wine, real stories and good company included.
How far in advance should we book?
We'd recommend getting in touch at least two to three weeks ahead of your date, especially around the busier summer and Christmas periods. If you need something sooner, just ask, we'll do what we can.
What kind of quality can we expect from the wines?
Every bottle is handpicked by our own team before it ever reaches your glass, so you're tasting quality and expertise, not something chosen off a list we've never tried ourselves.
